Best Steam Games for Girls?

I have been wanting some good games, but a lot of games are for boys.
I would really appreciate some suggestions please, not too expensive and don't take up too much space. And as well I like Portal 2, Unturned, Don't Starve and animal games. And any games like Minecraft too.

I've been trying to get my sister into gaming since we were in Highschool. She was great at the MECC and Broderbund and Learning Company Edutainment games we both grew up on. Anyway she's always been an otaku so I kept pushing her towards Final Fantasy series and other JRPGs. JRPGs are for everyone, after all.

People might accuse Shantae of being objectifying eye-candy, but she was originally designed by the series creator's wife.

Looking at YT and Twitch blind playthroughs of Final Fantasy titles, they seem pretty popular with girls. Though it annoys me they're mostly focusing on the more recent visually impressive ones like X and VII Remake instead of the series golden age.

17- I honestly recommend an arena shooter or a hero shooter that often follow a similar flow. For some reasons, even in my times, quite a bit of women seem to have liked those for some reasons. Needs nerves of steel because the skill ceiling is very high and lot of players played those for decades. Hero shooters are more modern and are usually easier to get into thanks to modern matchmaking.

The pixel remasters give I through IV some much needed love, but VII through IX didn't age so gracefully as far as visuals/resolution goes, and especially for the younger generation, I can unfortunately see this turning many of them off from those titles. You can only do so much with 320 x 224 or so backdrops, and I know mods and AI upscaled backdrops exist, but... they're not for everyone, and then they clash with these 3D models at a higher resolution than they were ever meant to be. But the problems don't end there for many of the current generation. The tolerance for the ATB systems won't be as high, and to be fair, the speed/pacing of battles was never was a strong part of those titles due to the limitations of the PlayStation. VII got a full on remake, so that leaves VIII and IX as the unloved ones as far as modern love goes. IX needs a "remake" IMO, but I also don't trust modern Square Enix not to change it where it doesn't need it/mess it up.

But unfortunately, I get why some people overlook them, and I say that thinking the SNES/PlayStation era was the high of the series (and JRPGs in general). Final Fantasy IX is probably my favorite game of all time. X is mostly fine though, especially with the HD Remaster, and I daaaaare even try and slide and say X-2 was fine-ish if you treat it just as a fun spin off adventure.
