i hate google because its like a female, finishing sentences for you and always suggesting other things :P
I hear a lock comeing.From "offended mods"
The sheer amount of data mining it does, how Chrome connects to websites before you've finished typing the url and many other shady practices.

That's business for you.
That's not fair ... And at the same time it's not as if google was public or else, so if they want to earn some money like that it's their right and that's what annoys me even more !!! ><
No one cares about 'being fair' when big bucks are involved.

Google for everything
Bing for ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)-worthy stuff.

Because Google is responsible for killing libraries.. just kidding, well I'm not sure they may be responsible. Hold on let me Google it, wait no I mean.. I'm off to the library to ask.

This in a nutshell.
Meh... It works great for certain things, but I do not like the "search results bias bubble" where it only gives you results based off your previous searches, making it heard to see, say, differing opinions than what google believes you "want" to see.

All this creates is more bias and extremism in social circles because people that do their researching through google will only get top results that they "want" to see that only supports their opinion or side of the story without providing the opposing fronts equally.

Larry Page admitted to a Wired.com columnist at a pre-IPO event that the real purpose behind starting Google was not to make money from advertising but to build the most powerful AI on the planet.

I would also look up the name Regina Dugan. Regina is a former director of DARPA and is now head of Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) at Google. She is also named as (but will not admit to being) a participant in certain above-top-secret projects when she was a young woman. Very smart girl. Very well-connected, too.

My guess is that she was brought in to help facilitate the manifestation of this uber-intelligent AI that they are building.

But the question is now being asked: is this omniscient AI going to serve humanity or is it going to serve itself (and the world gov't that will control it).

Time will tell...
