As for other ambient lighting setups, most of them are either "do it yourself" projects, or somewhat expensive. Phillips used to have really good ambx setup that now only seems to be included with a sound system http://www.amazon.com/Philips-SGC5103BD-Speaker-Peripherals-Premium/dp/B000PXIM4S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1425303354&sr=8-3&keywords=ambx and there is this kit with ambiLED http://www.flytron.com/home/284-ambiled-hd-ambient-light-kit-for-computer-monitors.html Dell had something for a while that was part of the alienware computer line but I think it only did the keyboard and other button lights.
Unfortunately, outside the DIY kits, there really are not a lot of options and even less when it comes to supportted games and such.
Thanks for the response. I saw the AmbiLED and it seemed like a good final commericial product. I just can't find any customer reviews to make sure that compatibility and functionality is good, as well as build quality.
Not really into the whole DIY thing, I work 6 days a week, so not much time to myself.
Update: I just looked at Phillips product you linked, DEFINITELY A NO GO!!! Under the description it says "Includes games: amBx enabled game titles ready to play." -- STEER CLEAR of this product!! As I stated I'm currently using amBx, so I can already tell this is a horrible product for compatibility!! Not to mention they are discontinued, so no continued support for the product! Just thought I'd bring this to anyone's attention readying this.
