Older Underrated Titles?

I'm just looking for some games on older systems, or older PC games, that may be underhyped, underrated, or just overall off the radar, that are still quality. Any reccomendations?

Any specific Genere? And does it half to be a Game you can buy thrugh SteaM

Stepmania is a great Game if you like Dance dance revvolution and White Day is a pretty cool Indie horror Game (Neither of which are available through Steam so you'll have to Google them)

Flatout 2. Even though its not 19whatever-2002 (it came out in 2006

) Its a great game if you like racing. Plus, batmobile. Just batmobile

Flatout 1, the original Thief series as well... not really underrated, but for the most part they're off the radar.

You sure those are underrated? I think everyone who is a bit into Western RPGs and hasn't started gaming just yesterday knows these. If you start a thread asking for RPG classics these and others usually come up sooner or later.

I actually checked to see if these were mentioned before on the forums - one of the first posts that popped up was actually yours recommending them!

Yeah, I still think these were underrated (OK, maybe not so much ID2). Arcanum at least deserves to be up there with the original Fallout, Vampire: Bloodlines, Wasteland and first Baldur's Gate, just one tier down from true greatness. ToEE being unplayable for an long time before the fan patching is probably why it isn't as loved as it should be.

Going to add the Wizardry series in too, preferred it over M&M and Ultima, but never got the same amount of attention.

Princess Maker II was a surprisingly deep and very fun adventure game for the DOS, it was the inspiration of a lot of more popular games like Long Live The Queen.

They've been mentioned before, but Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Icewind Dale are incredible. Anything from late 90s-early 00s that has Dungeons and Dragons on it is worth a play. 3.5 best edition.
