Can American people import Kinder eggs from other countries?
I’ve heard that they’re banned in the USA as they say the toys inside pose a choking hazard to children, but that alone doesn’t stop people who want to try them since they can travel to countries where they are sold.

Its like this: an American stocks up on these eggs when they’re in Italy (putting them in their luggage) taking it back to the USA but may stress if customs caught them having those in their possession as they’re banned.

I think there was some corruption with the government in the US where they tricked them into selling the toy separately from the egg to try to harm sales.
Not normal ones. US gets modified ones where the plastic is packaged separately from the eatable part. Because US kids are more stupid than Europeans.

Can they be imported? No. But that hardly matters as what you're describing is more or less 'smuggling'.

While Customs probably wouldn't care if you brought back one or two of them, they'd almost certainly confiscate a suitcase full of them. An excess beyond a quantity of normal personal consumption of a product that that cannot be legally sold (though is otherwise legal to posses) is generally going to be viewed as 'intent to distribute'.
