Anything made with AI cannot be copyrighted, so it'd be completely legal to download such slop for free. Could also get them sued for copyright infringement depending on what the AI was trained on.

I see this argument and I have to ask why does a story need to be "appropriated" to cater for other people? Can't they create a new story or perhaps draw inspiration from the culture they're trying to reach?
Personally I'd love to see Disney try to experiment with some Afro-Caribbean, African or even something more African-American folklore and tone rather than taking a beloved European cultural story and recasting the lead to clumsily try to fit this goal.
Snow White is how they double that to 300 million shares.
