Well... before a bugged Windows update screwed me over and destroyed my entire 80+ GB archive.
I don't do it often but I've gotten some cute art from it uwu
Which is to say, initially I mucked up the most basic ♥♥♥♥ in getting the tools running then decided to take a break. Then I came back to it, got it running, but then hit more snags which in turn have convinced me to not bother with it for the time being.
It probably helps that while I know a bit on scripting, hex codes and typing commands into a console I sure as ♥♥♥♥ do not know how to code and I probably don't have the means to train an AI to make what I want, how I want. Or the knowhow, for that matter.
Other people can make what they want with AI, I guess. It is a tool like any other and I hope that the luddites whose idea of progress is a return to candlelight and horse-drawn carriages don't do what they do best and hold society back with their inherent fear of nuance and innovation.
No worries, technology is inherently self-destructive. Luddites only have to wait and laugh at the tech-bros trying to nuke the seabed or destabilizing Earth's extremely sensitive hydrological cycle.
Plus, the artists who complain about their art being used should probably understand that the minute they put something out online it's there for everyone and anyone. That if they didn't want their art to be used online they wouldn't post it there to begin with. But these are people who don't create for the sake of creating, they create for the sake of their ego and their bank account.
Don't even get me started on the state and the doddering dusty dotards who still to this day think that the internet is just a series of tubes. The gerintocracy needs to install Gentoo.
