Have you never seen people with religious stuff on their profiles, for example?
Religion is the end-product of social reasoning made so simple that even an idiot can't mess it up too badly. The Bible, in particular, gives a lot of good advice for life, like "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn." Yeah, no ♥♥♥♥, because it needs to eat in order to work. Not hard, but people can an will mess this up. They do today in some third-world countries, and some first-world ones, come to think of it....
TINDR is another great example, though. How hard is it to find a keep a mate? Shouldn't be hard, should be totally natural, but people have screwed that up, too. It's their right to do so, but it's also their right to not be surprised when that crap doesn't work.
That's probably another example. I'm religious, I play DOOM, and I don't have any problems like enjoying satanic imagery. I abhor it, so it's great to blow the hell out of it in a game. But some people need the stricture.
Some of them play video games.
You know what's more funny? A lot of LGBT people are atheists.
I know at least of one Christian game review site.
And apparently there's also a Muslim gaming community.
There's probably also other religious gaming communities.
