2. The sequels have all steadily declined as the years went on, Scary Movie 1 & 2 are brilliant but even with the sequel you could tell the tone was faltering a bit.
3. I'm unsure how this kind of humour will meld with late stage millennials (who are perpetually offended) and Gen Z types who lack the social skills capable of understanding such humour.

first 10 minutes made me want to turn it off. Then...just, they have this absolutely amazing scene that caught me so off gaurd.

It was a constant flip flopping of "this is gross" to "this is beyond hysterical"
it's left a more positive impression on me than negative, so I really hope the newer movie can capture that magic.
