This feels like a running meme the internet came up with. It still doesn't feel real. It feels like a bad alternate reality TV show, like The Man in the High Castle.

So if it does happen, can we invade America? I mean, America did invade Iraq in order to liberate Kuwait. So... double standards? Can we invade them to liberate Greenland and Canada?

China definitely would take advantage of the situation and invade Taiwan just because US did it with Canada and Greenland.

NATO are weaklings. They've given most of their weapons to the lost cause that is Ukraine. The US was propping up most of it.

The odds of Canada joining the US is about as high as New Zealand joining Australia. Greenland might be slightly higher, but it would be more of a protectorate or territory, but unless they choose to join, I doubt it would happen.

The US isn't going to invade either of them, so it would be hard to justify invading the US if any acquisition was made. Trump like to put an offer on the table, just in case there is willing party wishing to join. I am surprised northerner Mexico wasn't suggested, that is where all the factories have moved to, a few northern Mexican states willingly join, and the US gets its factories back that have move there over the last few decades.

Whether he tries or not, the masks have already fallen. He wants Greenland and Canada and is an imperialist, just like Putin.

If he goes crazy enough (the decline is very visible), he will see 4 years as the deadline for these goals. The fact that he hasn't ruled out the use of military force is already extremely concerning.

This, but in the end I believe it will just foster even closer cooperation between USA, Denmark, Greenland and the rest of nato. Something really bad would need to happen in order for the USA to try and take Greenland by force and it's already showing results, US military already has bases there with more to come and China is being shunned even more then it already was as far as rare earth minerals is concerned.
