I also play Tekken which is a PvP game and it’s hard to get to God of Destruction Ranks. Once you make it passed Tekken King Ranks you’re basically the top 10 percent of players. And most of those people in those ranks are pro players playing their secondary characters.
I think pvp is harder, i like the predictability of an Ai.
Of course one day Ai will be as smart or smarter than a human... one day.
*me playing Tekken*
Me: *sweep the leg*
Opponent: I bet you won’t do it again.
Me: *sweep the leg*
Opponent: Okay. I’m blocking low.
Me: *mid checks* SIKE!!!!
do you think a person could beat laurence the first vicar (ng+7) in bloodborne as easily as they could a random in a 1v1 in csgo? even if they are being of different skill levels in PVP? i am not so sure. pve can usually be "balanced" to very unfair levels (on purpose), in a way that it is naturally and expectedly being very unfair to the player. whereas PVP is usually be more "discernible" so to speak, in terms of skill level. and even if you are at a disadvantage, it is usually possible to win
