What kind of internet do you use?

I use cellular internet at home via my Tenda AX1800 5G SIM router; I have two SIM cards, the main one for my phone and a secondary one for my router; both run on the same contract.

We do not currently have access to glass fiber where I live, in Berlin.

DSL is too slow, it runs at a maximum of 25 mbit/s where I live.

My cellular router runs, during good weather, at a speed of up to 380/500 mbit/s and the upload is usually around 15 - 25 mbit/s.

90 € per month for unlimited data and calling within the European Union.

Fiber 300Mbps down and 200Mbps up around 12 euro per month
Cellular 4G (5G available) 64Kbps (half duplex) unlimited, quite useful if you have the correct software. Price? 2.5 euro per month. I can get another sim card for the same price, but it is for internet only and it is 128Kbps, which would be interesting to experiment with it.

Comcast tried to bulls_it me into getting fiber hookups by claiming there was a problem with my wiring and asking to schedule a service call. A pretty dishonest way to upsell, I must say.

I'm certainly getting a DOCSIS 4 modem when they're available, but I see no reason to replace the existing cable line.
