Would you recommend Final Fantasy 1-6?
It's currently on sale for 52e, is it worth the price? Thanks.

I'm not sure if it is worth it to buy them all at once because they are old and that is quite a lot to get through. I would probably just buy a one of them for now and buy another one next sale if I like it.
Honestly, 6 is the only one you want if not a huge fan of series.

I just looked at prices. Emulate my friend. They have those games priced way to high.

The Pixel Remasters are pretty good for people who want to play them. I wouldn't recommend them to people that are just looking for a good game to play. I would only really recommend any of them to someone that wants to be able to play all the Final Fantasy games.

I agree in not buying them all at once unless there is a bundle discount or something.
Pixel Remasters are absolutely worth playing. You can find them for cheaper during sales, but the games are excellent.

6 is good
if you only pick up one of them, pick up 6, imo.

I played the first 5 Pixel Remaster games on here and was very happy with them. I didn't play 6 yet cuz I am not ready.
The Pixel Remasters look and sound great, but they cut out a lot of content.

The GBA and PSP versions of 1-6, and 3d remakes of 3 and 4 are all superior.
I'm probably the worst person to ask, because I hold what is probably the most unpopular Final Fantasy opinion in existence: that the games before VII were what I loved the series for, and from VII on it became something entirely different. I never thought VII was the revolutionary masterpiece everyone else did, and never got into it personally. And my favorite FF beyond that point, and the only one I actually really dug, was XII, just owing to its granular combat logic automation system, which I thought was incredibly clever and something I wish more games did.

TLDR: I love the older FF's so I'm too biased to give you a reliable answer that will translate to your tastes lol.

i agree that the gba/psp ports of 1-6 are being the definitive versions, but i really didnt like the 3d remakes of 3 and 4. the art style/graphics and such were adorable and unique, but i felt as games they were hugely inferior to the originals.

I agree. 7 is a masterpiece, but fairly overrated compared to the 1-6 golden age.
