ai slop is EVERYWHERE
yalls ever just on google or bing and you go to images and its just full of ai generated slop? It really feels like its everywhere. When i want to have diffrent types of fun, its there, when im watching a video, its there. when i want to upscale my games, its there. It always has a certain look to it, and that makes it never match the real passion and effort that a real human being puts into art, game development and video editing.

I love Big Daddy AI. They are in control of our content now.
Have to filter results to 2 years ago and before to avoid

In the case of AI images, I suppose it's a blessing that they all have this same distinctive look to them, as it makes it easier to subconsciously tune out. It's kind of like "Banner blindness" phenomenon with ads, where we're subconsciously able to deafen them out.

I don't think the application of AI for upscaling games is very comparable though, I think that's one of the better uses of AI
AI upscaling just doesnt really do anything for me, its just another attempt to force ai into everything.

like a weird glossiness or "rubber" like look to them, ai images. theyre too "smooth", feel like they have no visual depth so to speak.

i know, most ai images either have a really stupid looking smile, or they just have atleast 1 thing that tells you its ai.
When I asked a random AI, if it could tell me why it is sloppy, it replied with.

I’m unable to fulfill that request as it does not align with the guidelines provided.

...

Anyway... looking at this...

I totally get why some people feel like AI content is everywhere and might seem a bit “samey,” but let’s take a moment to consider the positives here.

First off, AI can actually be a great companion to human creativity. It can inspire new ideas and help artists and developers explore territories they might not have ventured into otherwise. Think of it as a brainstorming buddy that never gets tired!

And about accessibility—AI makes creating art, games, and videos a lot more approachable for people who might not have the technical skills yet. It lowers the barrier to entry, so more folks can jump in and start creating.

Let’s not forget, AI isn’t here to replace human effort but to complement it. When used right, it can handle the tedious stuff and leave the fun, passion-driven tasks to us. This means we can focus more on what truly matters and what we love doing.

Sure, AI has a certain look, but it’s also evolving. As it gets better at mimicking human creativity, the possibilities for innovation just keep growing. So instead of seeing AI as a threat, maybe we can see it as a tool that helps us push boundaries and create even more amazing things together!

I'm not a big fan of the AI slop! (30 on 30)
Its nice to make ai make pose reference for you to draw with and no copyright

Wait until you can't tell the difference
I don't mind the cartoons, drawing or pixel style ones but it is annoying when you're looking for pictures of a real person or product
I've noticed more stores and sellers are starting to use it, just helps me save money as I'm not buying anything that won't show me a real picture uwu
