I want to join the military

Okay I am going to let you guys decide my future with Pros & Cons whether I should join the Military

If I shouldn't, convince me otherwise

you are from the united states? if your profile is accurate.

i guess first before anything i must ask, why? why do you wish to join the military? is it being because you do not see yourself in other jobs/prospects? you simply wish to serve? from some googling, it seems us soldiers are also given certain benefits such as help with higher education like university and such. while there are benefits, i guess i cannot really answer until i understand why you are wishing to join.

You can already practice with "world of guns' and "ArmA"

cons: you will get shot at, and it'll hurt like hell, unless they're a very good shot and they're not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aiming for a maiming.

Only you can decide that for yourself; what others think about your choice to join or not to join should be of little concern.

If you do decide to join the military, I'd suggest doing your research before choosing a branch. Consider what it is you want to do now and potentially into the future. After which, if you're unsure of which branch to choose, then the Army is probably your best bet - it generally offers the widest range of opportunities.

Joining the military is a commitment. If you wanna join for the money and benefits then you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. Because a handful of ex-military are homeless. Oh yeah, once you sign that contract your life belongs to the government.
