I wish this hobby wasn't so degenerate with genuine beliefs like this. I wish gamers were genuinely oppressed at this point
infact this is basically an expression of DEI.
well we're ground 0 for actual engagement with propaganda. so we're on the front lines of the cyberwar as civilian casualties nobody gives two doge about.
but that's completely different from so many foreign agents crowding your poolhall that locals stop going there, I guess. right? no?
I also mostly play obscure and unpopular games, but not only old ones. In fact, I have no trouble finding modern games which are good. And whatever members of any "group think faction" have to say is none of my concern when it comes to playing the game. But I don't like seeing a game's community hub cluttered up by idiotic posts like "Women in a military is bad", like it happened in the 6th devlog post for the game "Menace". People who wanted "Battle Brothers in space" were suddenly outraged at a female squad leader and started flooding the discussion with useless drama. For context: "Battle Brothers" was the first game of the developers of "Menace". So, people who want "Battle Brothers in space" are obviously not the target audience and they can go somewhere else instead of annoying the developers AND the target audience with their anti-women rhetoric.
sounds like a nonsensical complaint designed to edge out a 40k competitor using illegal brigading.

Unless you're being sarcastic and are trying to play it like: "Earth is in space, isn't it?"
It won't affect games in the slightest. And especially those that aren't made in the US.
And if the developer is fine with having a smaller audience, then that is most likely what they are going to have.
Because time and again the evidence shows that those who choose to be right wing bigots and push right wing agendas tend to fall apart quickly. Cake shops, small businesses all have seen evidence of this.
The sad reality for such people is finding out that not just in the US, but everywhere else too, basic empathy and and all that is normal, not their puritanical nonsense.
You'd be surprised how many gamers actually DON'T care about what the rage-baiting crowd is whining. Street Fighter VI, Helldivers II, Baldur's Gate III, Battletech, Hades I and II are just part of the proof. It's just that the gaming communities would be even BETTER without those drama queens whining about non-whites, non-straight people and women in video games.
When people on the right in the US talk about these things they have NO IDEA how people think outside their borders.
Otherwise they'd realise that inclusivity and euqalitity are NORMAL and have been for decades in many countries and it thrives.
So tyo us it doesn't mean anything of note. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Piss poor logic.
I never said EVERYONE thinks the same way - that's patently ridiculous.
Your claim has absolutely nothing to do with anything.
If the majority thought like you, Trump would not be president.
