probly this assuming it comes out this year like it says
the first was the only title I can think of recently that did survival horror well.
There are about 15 games I'm looking forward to playing this year, though.
I'd also say GTA 6 but I doubt we'll see it until 2026.
And who knows which year we'll see Light No Fire or Elder Scrolls 6. Or which decade.
We'll just have to see if there's anything good...
or little nightmare 3
maybe this if they release in 2025

Okami 3
I hope the Duke Nukem remaster collection comes to PC.
System Shock 2 Enhanced.
The rest of Selaco.
The Gex trilogy was announced a while back. I only played a little of them back in the day, and while the mascot platformer gameplay was solid, the story was just plain stupid.
Espiocracy is a very close 2nd place though.
i have some recommendations for you of upcoming survival horror games done in classic style. i am looking forward to tormented souls 2 as well, however. all of these have fixed camera angles and low supplies and such, like the classic survival horror games.
- heartworm (very reminiscent of silent hill 1)
- echoes of the living (similar to re1 remake/re0)
- post trauma (heavy silent hill influence, also eternal darkness)
- ground zero (very inspired by original resident evil ps1 trilogy)
- simulacrum (inspired by silent hill again)
- butcher's creek (inspired by condemned, first person, not fixed camera angles)
and here are some new survival horrors that are already released i recommend you play:
- alisa (alice in wonderland meets classic resident evil trilogy)
- hollowbody (ps2 silent hill games influence)
- withering rooms (side scrolling survival horror metroidvania, silent hill and bloodborne)
- signalis (not fixed camera angle, top down. but very good survival horror)
- conscript (not fixed camera angle, top down. inspired by signalis, also good)
- fear & hunger 1 and 2 (not fixed camera angle, JRPG style, but absolutely horror. berserk)
anyway that first list are all horror games i am really looking forward to, they are all slated for 2025.
