I had an samsung 5 and that phone was very very slow. Games took for ever to load and when you made a call it took 20 to 30 seconds for the call to connect to start ringing.

Most of the people I know who own apple computers are just snobbish about it. "Oh, my Apply this" and "Oh, my apply that..." but, truth is, they haven't a clue. They just buy apple as a status thing.

I find the samsung tabs more useful, its movie machine that takes sd card, is a drawing tablet with pen, can install any apk want not locked down so hard and cost $160. Apples nice but locked down and apple pen is extra $100 on top of price

Im not into any of this status symbol personally, im not willing to get into huge debt to purchase products I don't need with money I don't have to impress random people who care nothing for me. But many people do fall upon status to show their more than they really are.

I have read many facebook posts were some women are saying they never date a guy who owns a android because they below them. So stupid on every single level.

To me, owning a brand new BMW, owning the latest iphone, purchasing $300 pair of shoes isn't a flexs for me. What I see as a flex is when someone has multiply streams of income, has a retirement plan, doesn't have to worry about bills or debts and who is financially secure, now that's a flex.

Just different horses for different courses. Both have their ecosystems and their own quirks and particularities. Some people just find more utility or familiarity/comfort in one vs the other. (And some can seamlessly move between both.)

They definitely don't make it easy to switch. Which is why I personally don't use them. I think music is still tied to iTunes and good luck transferring your contacts or even anything on your SD card to an Android phone. Hell, assuming the iPhone even HAS an SD card slot. It's so closed down they don't even let you expand your storage with SD or microSD cards.
