"The Good Doctor" turned to be so woke
"The Good Doctor" turned to be so woke-liberal.

At the beginning, I think 2 or 3 seasons it was fun to watch, but then it became more and more political. Stuff thrown around like " mansplaining " and transgender doctors with beard and so on.

Anti-gun agendas.

Why do they have to turn such a fun show into a political mess? Can't they keep this stuff out of a show ? Its almost impossible to watch anything " Made in the USA " nowadays.

Isn't it obvious?
isn't that the show that boils down autism to "adult acting like child"

...okay that barely narrows it down at all—

I mean autism is a wide spectrum, so can that kind of portrayal actually be called incorrect? (I know nothing about good doctor btw)

Because everything in entertainment has to turn into a preachy political mess.

it's a very reductive portrayal of it, and almost always what allistic people go for when they want to make autistic characters
and even in those cases, there are many aspects beyond just "immature childish maladapted adult with 5 trillion IQ"

this kind of portrayal of autism treats it as a line from less autistic to more autistic, when in reality it has multiple, independent aspects that look more like a jojo stand chart

it’s because some people who aren’t autistic tend to think autistic ppl are immature, childish, and whiny usually.
it’s just what they were told by their peers.

the only good thing about it was that ultimately they ended up portraying transphobia as immature and childish
anyway, allistic writers should consult with groups of autistic people before writing an autistic character

speaking about childish hatred, some guy on this forum got mad at me cause I called him “trash”, so he called me the f slur (bundle of sticks) multiple times, he still isn’t banned btw.

I dont think they did such a bad job. I mean in the end its one person, you cant expect to it reflect the expirience of thousands.
Its ofc a little over the top in most areas, but its a tv show, exageration is a thing.
Ive always thought his boss, I forgot his name, the old one that stood up for him, was done pretty bad in comparison.

You sound very sensitive and like you want to live in a bubble.
