I wouldn't recommend beer. Like any alcohol or cigarettes, it's a drug that your body would be better off without, especially with the damage that it could cause to a healthy liver.
Wisconsin's cheese and sausages are good, but their beer is highly overrated. Spotted Cow is okay, but not that good.
I suppose it's of historical interest, since it conforms to the old German Purity Law.
