Besides, i made certain to say it is my personal opinion. And besides, Captain Morgan brand is indeed terribadtastic.
But as for the topic's question, I don't know!
Beer, depending on the type, quality etc., has so many different tastes and no beer truly tastes the same. Even in the cheap ones there are some pretty good ones and some absolutely horrendous ones.
But I guess if I'd have to describe it in some way I'd say it's somewhat close to strong black tea. But even that isn't close.
Sir, with all good intent, I do value the propositions and dispositions of fellow gentlemen. But one who insists Captain Morgan is good rum is due for a boxing roundabout the ears, don't you think?
And there is the other possibility. Maybe those defending Captain Morgan, might have tried the actually half-decent "Private Stock"!
Maybe with a very faint metallic taste on top of that.
If you don't wish to be hooked upon it, nor care about it, you logically should just leave it like that. Otherwise over time, you acquire a taste for liking it or even an addiction towards it.
