Best games under $2 US Dollars?
I don't know where to put this, so I made it off topic.

I have $2.01 in my Steam account, and I was wondering what some good games are for under $2. If you are not using US dollars, please see if what the cost is in, say, Pounds, please see how much it would cost in US dollars. You can easily do this by typing it in on Google.

But anyways, I don't want games that are only on sale for a day, and no free games (including weekend games, free to play games, and unlisted free to play games). I already have Savant Ascent, which I also bought for $2. I am pretty impatient, but I could wait until the summer sale, depending on when it is.

Game genres I enjoy are:
Adventure, action, puzzle/strategy, platformer, shooters, Shoot 'em Ups, Stealth, Horror, and RPGs.

If the game is on sale for longer than a day, then you can name it, but chances are I will check this list every couple of days, so just a single-day sale won't work for me.

None lol!
you might be able to find games under 2 bucks on amazon used
You may be able to get the following games (which I'm familiar with and at least kinda like) for $2 or less, during sales (NOT bundles, since you say you have Steam wallet credit):

Puzzle Agent
Dysfunctional Systems
Organ Trail
Magical Drop V
Blocks That Matter
Cherry Tree High Comedy Club
One Way Heroics
Eryi's Action
Saira
Nightsky
Ether Vapor Remaster
eversion
Dungeons of Dredmor
Croixleur Sigma
Millennium: a New Hope
eXceed 3rd
DLC Quest
Defy Gravity
La-Mulana
RefleX

Hopefully at least one of these interests you.

While most higher-profile games cost more, you can occasionally find some gems with tons of content even at this price point. La-Mulana was once discounted down to $1.49, and it's one of the largest and most complex metroidvania games in existence. RefleX is a top-notch shmup game with simple, intuitive mechanics used to excellent variety of gameplay and drama -- and links them hand-in-hand for an incredible experience. Dungeons of Dredmor is a traditional roguelike praised for its humor, and One Way Heroics is a roguelike JRPG with a number of innovative features and unexpected depth.

Basically, if you're looking for, say, another Bioshock or Elder Scrolls or Call of Duty, you won't get it at this price, but you might find something totally different that you might like.

Also, I know you said Steam wallet credit, but One Way Heroics is currently going for $1.99 on Playism-Games, and as far as I know, you get a Steam key from it: http://playism-games.com/games/onewayheroics/

I got Obulis for $0.50 a few sales back. I'd wait and watch till somthing that tickles your fancy goes on sale.
Yeah, basically, anything that's $8 or less will, at a -75% discount, give you a price of $2 or less.

Sometimes if you're lucky you might even find $10 games going for -80%. Very rarely, a $15 or $20 game going for -90% will also do it. But usually these are for games that just aren't selling well.

-75% is the standard "best discount" that I've seen around.

I just want a game that would kill some time. I get my Steam money from selling trading cards, but I am running out of trading cards. So, if there are any games that might wind up on sale for under $2 that have trading cards, then I guess I can buy those, but I mainly want a game that will hold me over for at least a week, and yes, I am a completionist if I like the game. DLC Quest interested me, and has for a while, so if I wind up with $0.99 more in my Steam account, than I could buy it (technically, $0.98). I will probably get $20-40 for the Summer Sale, so I want something to keep me busy until about next month. I can make any short game long, as long as it is at least a hour of play time.

Ah, if you're looking for something now, then I guess the best bet are the midweek madness and weekend deal sales...which there are, obviously, but they won't be nearly as comprehensive.

Fortix, which I haven't played, is probably best known as that one game whose base price is $0.99 (and never goes on sale, it seems). A running joke at SteamGifts is that you don't Fortix for yourself, you always get it by having someone gift it to you, at which point you're obligated to gift (another instance of) it to someone else.

As for games udner $2, you can always do a store search for games under $5 and then scroll to the correct page. There aren't that many right now since stuff isn't on sale -- just two pages worth of games (not DLC) under $2. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Price&sort_order=ASC&price=0%2C5#category1=998&price=0%2C5&sort_by=Price&sort_order=ASC&page=1 here's the first page

I am stuck between Wolfenstein 3D, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, or Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. Any suggestions as to which one is better? I am not really much of a Star Wars fan, but the game looks entertaining, and most reviews on Steam say that it has hours of gameplay, whilst I already know of how fun FPS games from the 80s/90s are (I loved Doom especially). I would get Gunman Clive, if I didn't already have it on my 3DS XL.

I have Return to Castle Wolfenstein for Xbox and it's a really great game. The probelm with old games is sometimes getting them to run on new systems if at all. I did see Trine is on sale for $0.99 and I'm thinking of picking it up myself.

Well, I have a oretty bad PC, so games newer than 2008 will LAG. But, still, should I get one of the games mentioned above? Trove would count, but I don't know if I would have to much fun with it, because it looks like it is better with others, but I only have someone come over rarely, and they really only play games like Minecraft (my family is a little dull on which game they play, but I'm not, just as long as it seems fun or interesting :D)
