If you were given the chance to cause the death of one person, would you do it?

Out of nowhere, a supernatural being that only you could see and hear appears and gives you the chance to cause the death of someone. It could be accidentally falling into a manhole and drowning in nasty water, getting hit by a drunk driver, getting torn apart by a wild stray dog, happening to be in a store when a robbery happens and get shot etc.

It can't be someone famous. It must be an ordinary person. No one will ever know or suspect that you had anything to do with it, few would believe you anyway even if you told how it happened.

I mean, it is possible. Hitler didn't cause all that mayhem because "he was Hitler". A lot of factors had to align just right (or wrong) for that mess to happen. Sure, yes, it's much simpler to pretend life has "heroes and villains", but in truth, it's more complicated than that.

Education isn't knowing how many Jews Hitler had killed. Education is understanding why tens of millions of ordinary Germans thought that was a good idea and supported it. And the anti-Jewish sentiment has existed for centuries before Hitler.

Seriously. People need to get it through their thick skulls that Hitler got to where he became because of numerous other factors that could've led any number of other people to filling those same shoes (and almost certainly for the worse for the modern world).

Nothing evil about it. Just some theorizing to pass the time. Finding loopholes and other ways to break or corrupt the system is something people should do more. Perhaps then they'd be better equipped to deal with scams, bad deals and all the other things life throws at them.
