If its the feels then consult a psychologist.
Either way you may not like what you find... but once you know then you can work on solving it.
It doesn't make up for the other stuff, but it's a good skill to have.

If you feel depressed and very sad, and you think you may be a risk to yourself, I'd recommend immediately seeing a Clinical Psychologist and a Psychiatrist, if you're unable to do so, go to Accident and Emergency (A&E) at your nearest hospital.
You can also speak to Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636 in Australia (Not sure if it can be reached externally), their councillors specialise in anxiety and depression.
