Yes, I use lotion when "exercising" but it is usually hard and wet instead of soft and glowing.

I do take care a bit about skin to reduce stressed skin (for example at upper arms, sides of chest to the shoulders..) to prevent stretch marks as much as possible by lotioning those parts 2 times per week.
That's basically all I do, but I'd assume it also depends a bit on each person what's required and what not
