Does anyone think Gamefaqs is awful?

It's full of tyrant mods and admins and they allow trolls to do whatever they want without punishing them and wrongfully ban the victims. Does anyone feel that way?

I think gamers are always saying crazy stuff and being a nuissance, causing themselves to be banned....then they try to call admins or mods 'corrupt' because they only know how to throw blame outwards. I also think gamers run a victimization culture. And it is sad.

I couldn't say. I only use to go there for guides. I haven't been to the site in ages and I never did go on their actual forums.

It's almost the only source of savefiles for old games, so that's pretty cool.
Aside from that I don't know, but isn't one good thing enough ?

Well, I was the victim of the trolls in the forums, namely the FF boards of Gamefaqs and the mods didn't do anything about it, and they wrongfully ban me. Sure, the site is good for guides, but not for discussion on forums because of the evil mods and admin...

Nowadays anyone with a differing opinion than someone else gets labeled a troll, so they just ignore it "Boy who cried wolf" style. Saves a lot of time and effort when you ignore the whiny little kids. Though now that most games have their own wikis, I have not used gamefaqs since the early 2000s... Ahh Nostalgia. ^_^
