Relatar um problema com a tradução
Yes, but the STEAM WebHelper causes all of this, & STEAM does not allow you to
get rid of the STEAM WebHelper, there are Discussions by other people who also
claim that it's a problem... They need to get rid of it on STEAM... ~_~
I fixed the Links, my Web Browser keeps refreshing for some reason while i'm on STEAM Discussions, so when it does this I have to sign back in...
stop being paranoid. of webhelper has memory leak, report it appropriately
Stop Being Paranoid? My Computer was actually broken by this,
& many other people also reported this...
The process isn't just in STEAM, it's also in our Web Browers now, & also in Windows 10...
How about stop lying...
Also, if you care so much about a Browser based STEAM Client, how about separating
Games from all of this, & have it run separately, like how the Friends List runs...
You may want all this Junk on STEAM... All I want is the Games... I want nothing else,
just the Games on STEAM, & STEAM does not allow you to run the Games without STEAM,
so my suggestion is to separate them...
But i'll just wait here for you to bash me over this idea, too, cause that is what you want, isn't it?
make a proper bug report in an appropriate dteam forums section.
Use small mode.
Don't use the client but run the games directly from executable. Some work perfectly fine without Steam. But at least that should get rid of the "memory leak" which is just an expanding cache. If you don't use the client, there is nothing to cache.
The library also uses web technology. For all intents and purposes the webhelper is the client.
I am running Steam just fine on three different machines. Neither gets anywhere close a gigabyte of RAM usage. Neither of them has any noticeable slowdowns. Neither of them has any problems related to Steam. Using W7, W8.1 and W10.
But of course all of them are well maintained and not running on their last leg.
Your computer, as it's always been as long as you've been posting on these forums, is junk.
As cine suggests, use small mode and make sure that your steam client is configured to MITIGATE your bad computer's abilities.
You've been told this repeatedly over the last year. You have complained about this but apparently never once even bothered to read or follow through on this. Your computer is lower end, obviously, because:
PROGRAMS DO NOT CAUSE THESE PROBLEMS.
Your computer is failing, and doesn't work well enough to support the full client. That's not Steam trying to destroy your computer. They offer many options - I use them myself, but not because my machine DIES due to memory use. Use the options.
restarted steam both times - same memorry allocation in both cases
I hear WalMart has plenty of aluminum foil for your tin foil hat collection.
