Am I the only one who prefers controller vs keyboard & mouse?

I know everyone says mice are far more accurate in fps, but I actually prefer controller, just because all the buttons are right there in my hand, and it's much more comfortable.

I can't play anything with a controller anymore. There was a time, but that was when I was young and didn't have a computer.

But now, mouse and keyboard all the way.

That said, it is just personal preference. Go with whatever you are comfortable with.

It kind of depends on the game.
Some action and fighter games I prefer a pad, arcade games usually are made for it.

But take yer average flight simulator, and that gamepad won't have all the buttons you need.
Also strategy games and actually any of them point&click games are easier with keyboard and mouse IMO.

Then again, it's all about personal preference, and it's great there's a bit of choice on PC.

I prefer a controller over the ole' keyboard and mouse setup for some games, such as the Batman Arkham series and Jet Set Radio, which pretty much requires you to use a gamepad.

I absolutely don't understand how people can use a controller for fps. It feels so wrong to me, so difficult to control. Naturally, as with any peripheral choice, it's all relative to what the user likes and feels most effective with though.

You can have my Razer Naga when you pry it from my cold dead fingers!! >.>

I prefer mice for games that only need mice, but if a game can use a controller, I'm all about that, with the exception of MMORPGs...

There are a few games I'd use (and have used) a controller with (Indigo Prophecy comes to mind; it's nearly impossible to play without one.) However, they are almost always third person, survivial horror or arcade shooter type games (or the ultra rare platformer I actually play), never any first person stuff.
