How many pushups can you do in a row without stopping?
No liars or trolls please. I can do 40 but I feel like that's pretty bad considering how much I used to work out, I also am really tall tho so long arms it's harder than having short arms :p

Also, this isn't a competition or anything.. just curious how strong the pc gaming master race is ;)

I dunno. A lot more than I can do in pull ups. Uh.. 40 I guess is my norm, as I only do them as part of the morning. More, if I want to push, but I don't push it because I just want to stay healthy, not be strong or anything. I just do them until I feel a strain, and stop.

And we go on like this. A push-up is down-up, down-up, so if you count each time you go up that's cheating. 37 this time, which is actually pretty pathetic considering what we used to do, but I'm going to blame it on being older. That must be it. Just old.
I'm more the dominant, manager type... I have people to do push-ups for me.

Though if I have access to a forklift I can do as many pushups as I have propane or diesel. ^_^
when i'm high, I'd say 100. normally, I could do about 35. When I'm really pissed with something, maybe 60.

so when you're high your strength increases by 300% basically? wut m8
0 because I have a hangnail and can't support myself properly without pain, and also my ankles don't bend far enough forwards so the support is still bad, also I tend to collapse when doing them.
I'd rather do laps than do pushups.
(Yes I know they are different parts of the body being exercised)

10, I am pretty weak. When I did taekwondo I could do around 50 without stopping.
depends on the form. a lot of people have really bad push up form.
I have never pushed myself to the limit, but in one set the most I have done is probably 70-80.
I don't care how many pushups I can do.

What matters to me is that I feel the pain, and then break through that barrier.

Training for hypertrophy >>>>>>>>> strength training.
