https://store.steampowered.com/app/1385380/Across_the_Obelisk/ Any games like this on steam but simpler and more explanation on how to do stuff like with upgrading and crafting cards?
I'm not really sure how to best describe the type of game I'm looking for but I want something casual that's mostly played with just a mouse, or some light keyboard input is fine. No crazy mmo keybinding stuff.

Something similar to pokemon or monster sanctuary where you start with a basic collection of cards or monsters or heros and you battle / capture / collect other monsters / heros and upgrade them to be stronger.

You'll find / win loot or upgrades or something where your collection can grow and evolve or whatever.

Thanks dude I'll check em out
With another Steam Sale going on, I'd appreciate some hidden gems recommendations, preferably from my wishlist if possible. Looking for very obscure stuff, not just old games or semi-popular indie games.
Recommend me a game that has everything Star Citizen is promising but actually works.

Does not exist. Part of the "charm" is them promising unrealistic expectation that somehow can be delivered.
What exactly you want - space exploration, space combat/trade or what?

What are some games that don't "cheat"? I'm talking about games where players and NPCs must play by the same rules. For example: racing games with no "rubberbanding"; fighting games where touching the enemy either deals the same amount of damage to both of you or none at all to either; RPGs where recruiting an enemy/boss doesn't make their power level drop considerably; games with elements of chance that aren't biased in favor of the player (nor against the player).

Let's start with something simple: RPGs where you can recruit bosses whose power stays the same after you recruit them and where using the same ability as an enemy will result in the same amount of damage. No more than 10 years old.

The first two Metro games have a "Ranger" mode where you are basically a glass cannon. You will die in 1-2 hits, but so will all human enemies.

I've already played those, and they're older than 10 years.
