Can we have Xenogears released to this platform? I see we will soon get grandia HD and we allready have a bunch of ff games.
I didn't know this thread existed, anyway here's a game I think is worth recommending.

Basically Mario Maker for PC. It controls well, has a robust level editor and it does have features that set its self apart from MM.

Looking for a cute, casual game

When I get stressed out my go-to games are (don't laugh) the old Gameboy Color and GBA Hamtaro games. Ham-ham Heartbreak is definitely an all-time favorite of mine. It's basically a cute, simple, plot-oriented, top-down, puzzle and exploration based RPG with no combat.

The trouble is, I've beaten those games 100 times and I'm still needing something to de-stress with. Anyone have any recommendations for cute, low-pressure games with a sweet little plot? Stuff like Stardew Valley is nice, but there's just too much stuff to juggle for it to be really relaxing. I'm looking for something I can't really fail at.

Thanks in advance.

Staxel is pretty cute, it's like Stardew Valley and Minecraft had a baby. Forget to water your plants? Water them the next day. Forget to do that? Dig up the dead plant to get the seed. Forgot to feed your animals? They'll be a bit cranky but I've not killed one yet (sometimes they stray from the feeding area THEN complain they're hungry). As far as I know, the quests are also pretty laid back in regards to there's no time limit to finishing them. The only semi-stressful thing is if you're going to be a completionist but like Stardew, the seasons repeat on a cycle so you forget one thing, it'll be there the next year and the special events repeat pretty frequently.

A social game!
Hello everyone! I am a avid gamer and have been for 33 years (im 38) started on good old Atari! 😂

I am looking for a game now (online multiplayer) that is very sociable, action packed, not so grindy where I can meet and chat with others co-op on missions etc..

I used to play on consoles with groups of mates, but now I prefer PC I have no consistent gamer buddies to play with anymore, and i miss it ☹️ (sounds quite sad really doesn't it).

If anybody could give me any recommendations of games to point me in the right direction that would be great. Also feel free to add me!!

Many thanks fellow gamers!
The main problem is the "not so grindy" part as that is pretty much the main thing in all online games. Gotta provide some long term goals the easy way.

Could take a look at Destiny 2.
Next to Destiny 2, I can also suggest Killing Floor 2 and Payday 2. While there's heaps to do in both, they're not so much grindy as the core gameply, the one you'll be spending your time with, is fantastically amazing missing the definition of grind.
Atari's were the canines plums. Unfortunately most coop games with more than a few hours of gameplay do tend to lean towards grindfests.

My suggestions would be borderlands 2 or GTA. Though the latter doesn't have the best community. Also heard a lot of good things about divinity 2's coop experience but not played that myself.

Thank you for your help! I already have GTA but have never tried Borderlands, will give it a look!

Borderlands 2 is the best one on steam. It can devolve into a bit of a grind after the first few hundred hours but I've yet to play a better coop game!

There's always people starting coop playthroughs too, so hit up the steam forum for BL2 for someone to join your slaughter session.
It may not look very social, but Left 4 Dead is a very social video game.

Destiny 2 is DEFINITELY grindy. but its a very social-able game, you may say, with one of the bigger end game content rely heavily on premade team to play. Tho if you enjoy shooting enemies and challenges it's a pretty solid game.

aside from destiny 2, most MMO games with lots of social interaction tend to be grindy so if you don't want that i'd suggest game with more orientation to Singleplayer-Coop type of games since usually those games aren't designed to be too grindy. If i may recommend, maybe try games like

https://store.steampowered.com/app/548430/Deep_Rock_Galactic/
Action packed, round based shooter with up to 3 other player where you play as a dwarf trying to mine a space asteroid for minerals. Not that grindy, pretty good social interaction features. You can buy your dwarven mates a cold one after a good match from your own pocket and toast and dance.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/107410/Arma_3/
Arma 3 is a modern military sandbox shooter game with massive community made content. You can play the game however you want. Singleplayer, Multiplayer quick match, Roleplay, Milsim, etc. And there's a lot of polished conversion mod as welI like HALO universe, Zombies, Vietnam and ww2 era, Star wars, etc. I mostly enjoy playing a milsim (military simulation) in this game where basically me and my unit friends play a self made scenario and try to fight the ai in a coop scenarios. Definitely very social if you play a milsim with you having to communicate with other and having fun together tho it can be less action packed since it's more of a simulation game (and depend on what kind of scenario you play there)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/252490/Rust/
Rust is a survival game where you start of with nothing and need to try get some resources, craft simple tools and weapon, build bases, and then try to get better and better gear. Basically the game start with you using spear and stone -> guns and rockets. Its very social from what i've seen and action packed. tho the game is PvPvE means while you can coop with anyone, they can also be hostile and fight you instead. Also server usually reset every few weeks for balance reason. oh and it's kinda grindy at start and have high learning curves.

Some honorable mention,

https://store.steampowered.com/app/307110/We_Need_To_Go_Deeper/

that's some recommendation of games i could think of to get you started tho there's quite plenty more out there and some is already mentioned above by the other.
