I suggest a dinner with friends, so you can get to know your GF in a social situation. Maybe a group movie! Where you don't suggest a film, and just listen to her suggestions!

She just told me to pick is so I decided to watch a classic "Flash Gordon" ...she wasn't impressed after the firsxt 5 minutes. Then we just went for a walk instead.

She ended up by the end of the night realising who Nicolas Cage was too, but couldn' name Harrison Ford at all.
