They're selling like crazy, so I wouldn't exactly call them horrible...
Yeah they sell when they get released because they're rare andNintendo never does a second shipment.
They're being advertised as in game content and the in game content is horrible.
Did you read what I wrote?
Amiibo aren't in early access. They're in full release. Currently Smash Bros (and possibly others) is the only game wiht good amiibo support. I listed off NINE GAMES with horrible amiibo support. Nintendo has shown no sign to ship more of non Mario related amiibo and also shows no sign to improve the amiibo support for the NINE GAMES I listed.
They would be selling better if they were more readily available.
There are several my wife wants, but are hard to find and/or exclusives.
I'd like a Shulk my self, but at $70+ on Amazon and Gamestop hardly getting any, not worth my time or money.
Buy them for the figure, not for the game. ;-)
"It is a secret to everyone."
Who even buys abiibos to actually use them anyways?
Then they keep saying how they are in an financial crisis....I wonder why.
Yeah the worst part about amiibo is the lack of them. Though Shulk should only cost you around $30 off of amazon.
And I did say that the best thing about them is just having the figure but these are being marketed for the in game content.
Like I said to Spawn of Totoro the best thing about amiibo is just having the figure but they are advertised as in game content.
Unfortunate, sure, but understandable.
It's not expectable or understandable. Nintendo doesn't even make a second shipment of most amiibo.
When those cards are finally released, I foresee they'll quickly eclipse my amiibo collection.
Also, plenty of people have a "New" 3DS, myself included.
I will never get people that buy dust collecters & end up selling them anyways later down the line.
Because that's a big enough problem on it's own and we don't need other people joining in on that.
