I know, right? I just want to trade. But they have to be all protective. Not that I can blame them. White guys showing up in big metal machines tends to be bad news for a lot of people. I should know, I'm white and we've killed more of ourselves than aynone else as a total number, if not a percentage.

But yes, they are senile. We've changed and we're sorry. At the time we just assumed that the reason everyone else was so backwards was because they didn't do things the way we did. Who hasn't done that?

You and me both, but we can't have it now. Capcom is notoriously protectionist. We have three options. The first is to wait and pray it's successful enough in the Japanese market that they release it overseas. The second just write to Capcom politely but emphatically begging them to release the game for the rest of us. The third is to wait for my Graphene Investments to fulfill my wildest dreams and then I'll just buy the friggin' company and make them produce the best Dragon's Dogma game ever. I will probably go broke doing so but it would be worth it. So.....ten to twenty years for that. Whatever the case, I hope you can learn patience. Maybe you can ask some Japanese for tips on that in the meantime. They've still got that as a big part of their culture.

So something that can't realy exist is what a "death game" is.

Swords and huge bosses are in almost every MMO ever made. Not much to go on. Pick any random MMO at this point.

Well, the VRMMORPG in the Anime was also called Sword Art Online. So it can be called a game.

There is a Sword Art Online game and it is on the Playstation Portable. It's just only in Japan.

Whether this thread is still open to the original poster. Phantasy Star Online 2 from Japan is actually the very closest thing. Monster wise, Character wise and playstyle. I'd recommend it, although signing up is a bit tough if you cant translate the page. ( Use google translate and hiragana keyboards. ) I spent maybe 20min registering and it was definitely worth it! Tons of US players play it and its pretty fun.
