even though, when the hacker/cheater ban multiple times in win 11, they cannot spoof or modify hardware. because of HWID Anti-spoofing ban

they'd just bypass that with a hacked windows 11 copy

There is no such thing as that. Microsoft isn't going to ban copies of windows based on what you do on Steam, and their isn't a way to stop it in the first place when you have full control over a PC.

Popular games is a market worth millions. World's top Hackers will do all they can to earn that million jackpot. Hence I feel OP you have underestimate the experts. : P It is never "oh I don't want them to cheat or spoof HWID, a program or OS update can fix this". They will crack it, the companies will patch it with win12, win13 and they will crack it again - it's a cat and mouse game and you know it too.

It can be done if the OS or game company has more power to control the hardware. Then again, would you allow those corporations to take control of your PC when it's only a game? Majority of people voted no.

Microsoft bricks their consoles by blocking them from connecting to the internet, but it would be harder for them to do such a thing with a PC.

People who use cheats and excessive toxic players get that treatment, and people who were stupid enough to download a certain Halo game onto a disk before it released and played it while online.

Also Microsoft isn't going to ban you from using your PC because someone cheated in a video game. That would be illegal for one.
