NO WAY ABSOLUTELY STUNNING TECHNOLOGY OMG GUYS LOOK AT THIS
Using the joycons can be more fun at least, and this is what I care about (not that I care too much about aiming anyway), but for the best performances (if this is what you care about) in my opinion a mouse will always bew the best option (even if it is much less fun than joycons in my opinion) because having a solid surface under your mouse and your arm gives a very big advantage.
Anyway I don't care too much about challenges and performance and for me the most fun and pleasant thing is to use analog sticks in shooters and first person games.
And I would want to not have any reason to aim in other kind of games (games like Mario Galaxy... which is absolutely fantastic, but they had to justify the motion controls somehow... and the game would have been even better without those things...)
According to the alpha testers who are all basically mouse users, if you're completely useless with a controller this thing will make you feel comfortable and competent, good controller users will go to the next level with this thing.
I) don't know, in my opinion the worst problem is the fact that you are holding one single thing with both your hands, this feels awful with motion controls but since it is a problem about the stance of your body probably it is very subjective.
I don't think I could enjoy it but as I said I don't even feel the need because analog sticks with 3D games are just too fun in my opinion compared to anything else, even if they are not the best solution for aiming, I just want to have fun.
do I rly need to say this is irony? -.-
The first thing people typically think about when hearing “motion control” is the image of people flailing their arms around like in Wii Sports. During the development process, it was clear that the experience could never be that way to succeed. Rather, subtle movement that is used to constantly correct your thumbstick aim to beat your opponent while doing so comfortably without fatigue was the requirement. It would be used by anyone that wanted to aim better and faster over a regular controller (especially competitively online). It would leverage the same Smart Translation technology of all its XIM predecessors.
This thing comes with analog sticks too., and they are calibrated every time by the software so say goodbye to stick drift.
Anyways, the controller has finally released. Maybe you can ask someone at the official forums to make a CSGO video using a custom manual configuration to show off the motion aiming. I say manual because I'm pretty sure there's no Smart Translator for CSGO, which isn't big on consoles. Obviously, you can use this controller like a normal controller without the motion aiming but that defeats the purpose of the Xim Nexus.

Not really sure what you're talking about.

Using gyro with a controller (dualsense/DS4/switch pro/steam controller) works the same way a mouse does, providing you use mouse input and set the same sensitivity to the gyro of your controller. For example to aim with your mouse, most users barely move an inch to reach their target. Gyro works the same way but you tilt the controller instead barely an inch to reach your target.
You still have to use your right stick for wide camera movements but with high sensitivity settings for extremely quick turns plus the gyro for fine aiming you get use to it with practice. It's not for everyone but it gives controller users the ability to enjoy PC centric shooters without aim assist.
