Probably Undertale, if only because it's fandom doesn't seem to be as terrible as FNaF's from what I've seen.

Of course I haven't actually played either of them yet, so make of that what you will.

Undertale... For one, it has a story that is not just made up by fan's. Two, it has gameplay mechanices that are not repetitive. Three, the fanbase is tamed, and isn't posting cringy fanfictions.

I would say neither is better. They're both overhyped games with legions of rabid fanboys who attack you if you give your constructive critisism.

What was wrong with Undertale (I haven't played it I'm actually wondering what problems there are)?

I honestly find Undertale to be the best IMO, It's an RPG game, great soundtrack, Story Rich, and it's almost as if it reads your mind (I think) with Bullet Hell action fight, and as for the fanfiction, it's nothing like the one FNAF fans that does it.

http://steamcommunity.com/id/302188892/recommended/391540/ A clear example of this fanbase. This is the top rated negative review, the person giving the review is only disregarding all other negative reviews and telling everyone to just buy the game.

Haven't played either but in FNAF you sit on your ass and watch some cameras. Also the only scares come from loud noises.

Played neither, but FNAF has the most rabid fanbase and the game is so simple and depends on things such as volume to scare you.
They ruined the game even more with the series up to 4.
The DLC (If any, idk) would overkill.
If the movie ever comes out critics would wage war.
So pretty much Undertale.

My brother used to play FNAF a lot.
I don't know but FNAF is a flash game tier.
It relies on cheap jpg jumpscare, gameplay is repetitive.. should have been a flash game for free.

What's worst? The fans who infect gmod and other workshops

Most overhyped and most overrated game ever

Undertale, because I love it's soundtrack! Haven't gotten the game yet but I'm already trying to learn the songs to play with a guitar and drums
Call me a fanboy, but I love myself some good music... :3

The game isn't even a year old yet, and people are claiming it's better than games like Fallout 3 and Super Mario World. Sooooo.... not sure about that.

Yeah, most games that explode that quickly usually have a cult following of chidlren.

Still though. I don't think either games are bad, I like them both in their own ways.

And on another note. To give the FNAF Fandom some credit, most of them have toned down. I am a reg on that forum and I tend to interact with a good lot of them. Most bait threads get disregarded, or the fans actually jump on and have a serious discussion with the poster about why he dislikes the game.

They've matured a lot and most of the kids have left.

It just sickens me to think that games that actually went the extra mile to improve the genres they are from; are being pushed aside for an Earthbound Wannabe.
