Weird Question...(Posture while gaming)
I was wondering this as I find mine changing throughout the course of a playing session. I am especially interested in what some highly competitive gamers think.
Anyway, how do you sit when you play games? Do you have good posture? Do you lean in towards the screen a bit? Completely hunch over your keyboard? Or are yoy relaxed with your back against the back of your chair the entire time. Do you think you perform better sitting a certain way?

I ususally try sitting up straight for posture's sake, but I've been finding it hard to do so in this horrible chair of mine. It's just not comfortable any more.

Also, when I get really into a game, I notice I'll start leaning forward.

I have a standing desk.
When I'm playing KBAM games like an RTS, I'm all hunched over and usually can only do it for a short while.

Controller for the win! I can lean back, kick my feet up, and relax... Either at the desk or on the couch, or upside down hanging off the edge of my bed.
It's important to make sure your monitor is at the correct height (in line with your line of sight).
The old adage where the head goes the body will follow applies.
Make yourself as comfortable as possible, while having all the freedom of movement you need for your hands/arms. I switched to a trackball so I wouldn't have to move my right arm as much (if at all). It allows me to rest on my right arm, making me more comfortable for longer periods of time.

Agreed. I've gotten fragged many times unnecessarily on MW3 because I ran out of mouse room.
A really-good quality folding-chair is probably better for you than a really-cheap padded-leatherette computer-chair.
Check out this Lifetime chair:

You may find these at COSTCO, Sam's, Walmart, ASDA, etc... for about US$29 each.

At my previous work, they had those chairs that you kneel in, that promoted good posture.
I liked it at first but then it started to hurt after a couple weeks.
I always try to sit up straight for health and concentration but end up leaning back in my chair and putting my feet on a footrest i have under my desk lol.
I just lay on my bed :)
I feel like the better the posture the better I game :)
The Hunchback of Notredam has nothing on me!

As much as I try not to, I always end up hunched over.
My posture changes depending on what type of game I'm playing. The usual theme is: sitting up straight, leaning in, and leaning back completely in my chair.
