You don’t have to install ad blockers on all of your devices which may slow down your phones and tablets and come with their own ads. And you get youtube music so you don’t need any additional music streaming subscriptions like spotify. Youtube premium is absolutely worth it to me.
That works on desktops and laptops but not for the youtube app for mobile devices like the ones I’ve mentioned.
I said that doesn’t work on ipads and phones.
Boom
apple is proprietary cow manure
Also, use the Librewolf browser.
I don't use an adblocker.
But, I do use a script-blocker.
And, frequentlly, both Youtube and Google (same thing) as well as many other commercial hosts/sites detected script-blocking as ad-blocking, which usually means they're also using third-part hosts to run scripts on that webpage, which could be "anybody," which is exactly why I want to know who's running that script before I decide to allow it or not...
Because... #%^^%# those guys.
I don't mind a reasonable amount of ads embedded in youtube vids because that supports youtube and the creators who's vids I am watching.
But, I am not allowing fifty-eleven different jerkwads to clamber onto my machine just because they want to. Because... #%^^%# those guys.
