When I get depressed or sad, I also get really angry with both myself and others, and music generally only makes that anger worse. So, I don't listen to a song when I'm sad.

Sometimes I listen to depressing music to help me let it all out when I'm alone in my room. But most of the time I listen to whatever I like, regardless of my mood.

Same. If I'm already down, sad music doesn't help.
