In-game mouse acceleration usually sucks.
I have several DPI settings on my mouse I can switch. Also a low DPI button I can hold for precision. These newfangled fancy mice are great.
It all comes down to how you use it.
Like I said. I need low sens for aiming, which is great, but also need high sens when I need to turn around and twitch over to the other corner, which works for me.
Let's say, you do wanna develop the muscle memory for that to make the aiming all natural; Welp, now you won't because the mouse will accelerate at random inputs dependable on how fast you react at that moment, making it all the more difficult for your brain to adapt to that.
-> The result? You will end up being a tad bit off the mark because of the inconsistent experiences tricking the brain and creating overlapping memories.
Even if I were to have a small mouse pad, I'd increase DPI or sensitivity and be done with it.. As I will get used to it overtime, but to get used to something that keeps changing at random intervals?
No way, I can get used to that..
