saying it's a slur would be saying that neurodivergent is a slur, which it's not. but for every action there's a reaction, so in order to maintain balance in the universe the word neurodivergent needed an antonym, and so the word neurodivergent was invented and the fabric of the universe remained intact. aren't you glad?

That being said, people lie when they've got something to gain or something to lose. It can be a valid tactic, but at the same time anyone who deceives me is someone whom I want out of my sight. Though there is a difference between lies and mistakes. Just like there's a difference between breaking a promise and being unable to keep it. It's something I had to learn.

After all, this world isn't made for people like me. Ergo, it's only right to learn how to adapt to said world.

Neurotypical people have a better read on the emotional state of others and comparatively enhanced ability to hide their own. Given this, I supose a neurotypical person has to be more on the lookout for liars while being on-guard against lies. A successful lie can get somebody doing something they wouldn't ordinarily want to do to the end of somebody else's benefit.

There are also cases where lying is necessary to protect yourself or others, depending on the nature of the situation or the lie. Ergo, you wouldn't want to tell a murderer where your best friend is hiding away from them for example....
