Sony x Ubisoft is like combination from hell itself.
I understand, but for Sony, this purchase can be something more. I mean, Sony by itself has a lot of problems... but maybe it can work
"Phenomenal Cosmic Power, itty-bitty living space." RIP Ubisoft, I guess.
In my own opinion, if starwars outlaws starred Han Solo as the main character, it would of been a massive success. But because Ubisoft wanted to push this female lead and push identity politics inside their games, it's caused such a backlash, gamer's are for once sticking together in boycotting.
And all this crap about 'you should be happy not owning your games' has been taken out of context. Clearly, none of us own our digital games on platforms such as ubisoft, steam, epic, EA etc and we all act like somehow Ubisoft was in the wrong to say this.
But I wish all the digital platforms especially steam would come out and say the same thing instead of hiding behind, SSA, Eula''s and ToS's and expecting gamer's to read it all. Just my two cents.
Or EA, who'd just sit on the IP's and let them die, preventing the competition to do something nice with it.
The same can be said for valve sitting on IP's such as Left 4 Dead, Half-life and Team Fortress.
But I would like to see another Burnout paradise game tho and especially a new half-life and Left 4 Dead game.
Has Tencent found a way to buy from itself.
No they don't own it they only own a small part (about 10%)
Not for long, soon tencent will hold more with this supposed buyout that is rumored. Like I said in another post, outside forces are destroying western companies from within with this DEI and woke agenda, making said companies worth pennies on the dollar, enough for outside forces to come in and scope them up, just my opinion.
