If you would like a World War 2 afternoon film then this one is pretty good for the family.
Set in World War 2 mainly in some rural village a grumpy old guy is happy being his grumpy self.
Until the evacuations happen and he has to take somebody in.
This is based on a very good book and the film has to cut chunks out to fit in the film but a series could well serve it in my opinion.
Tom has to take this boy in and it turns out the boy has been neglected so even a grumpy Tom is a blessing to his life.

Second film is Jason Bourne.
Does not really do anything for the Bourne series imo because the first three films had a great run and tied things up in a way that for me worked.
I don't know what number Jason Bourne is after the first three or how many after that there are.
It is not a bad film .... but the car chase got me bored. I've seen lots of action films and car chases are good to watch ..... but so what?
What makes a good film is tension especially the spy / hit agent type of scenario.
Ignoring the car chase bit later on, the stuff I really like is the evasion and the movement of people and using the crowd to manoeuvre those bits are good and theres a lot of it.
There is action too and that is good.
At the beginnig its straight off the mark action and getting on with the film, I was expecting the obligatory Hollywood lets grab them with action then slow down after ten minutes and let everybody breathe.
This does not do that so be prepared this is a good action / spy / agent type of film.
The storyline serves to link the film together but really just ignore it , its a bit let's make it so...let's pretend that...and then lets... - ignore the story just have it that Jason is figuring out if he is on the run on the hunt or trying to get back in.
That's a good enough story as it is.
You'll find it easily enough online.
Well, do you like your films 90s style?
Do you like your films a bit of Horror style?
You know how Sarah Connor has The Terminator?
This film has a Djinn.
After the opening scene it takes a little time to get the ball rolling but when it does, you get a real classic of the era.

Brainscan is a film for gamers everywhere.
Heavy Metal 2000
There be 2 animations / cartoons of Heavy Metal both very different and both centering around a green orb of power / evil.
This is one of them Heavy Metal 2000.
Michael Ironside voices the bad ass (Tyler)who after coming into contact with the orb has changed into a bandit warrior type of person?
Anymore and I might make a spoiler.
Good adventure story and lots of fighting.
There really needs to be more of this kind of animation imho.

Favourite quotes?
"what strange customs you have" - you will know why when you see it.
"the ugly one is in my seat!"
A nice touch is Billy Idol is in this too, I won't tell you who though.

Science Fiction cartoon that has an interesting premise.
^^ looks good will be watching tonight ^^
taken down tonight's contribution and probably wont update further, other people can if they want to.
not worth the hassle.
Do you go to Christmas fairs and question Santa?
They are on youtube or archive.
Scum comes along the lines of s29 and s30 .
If people wish to learn something about the UK it is one of those films that will teach them.
I'll add I used to have a forum group with permission from Steam Support with films too.
Now I'll probably get a flood of people pressing report putting any reason they can think of and yet again their automated systematic way of doing things will see me get a ban of a month until I send enough support tickets that will get eventually read by somebody who actually reads them and decides 'your right it was done in error you are now unbanned' that can take days.
And so I await the next incoming ban thank you, and in my explanation they will probably mark that as spam and add on some more.
Ending with a big "we won" moment with the Augsburg Confession was pretty abrupt and kind of ridiculous. Was Princess Leia presenting medals off to the side?
Can be found easily enough on Archive.
this is probably the best Arthur film there is.
I would have liked it to have been longer going into the individual knights more and made into a trilogy to really go into the vast story that could be King Arthur.
still this is a damn good film.
you might recognise a certain captain of the USS Enterprise in this film too.
If you like King Arthur then watch this.
and try not to think of Monty Python's Holy Grail.
