Blocking Is Cowardly
blocking other users is an act of cowardice
If someone is actually threatening you or otherwise seemingly poses a risk to you, your account or others then it's justified but blocking for weird or benign reasons as not liking someone's name, profile picture or having an opinion that doesn't align with your own is weirdo behaviour and says more about you then them
ease up on the sensitivity and learn to ignore instead uwu

I think complaining about blocking says something about a person as well. It comes across as desperate. There's nothing "cowardly" about cultivating your Steam experience the way you see fit. That's to confuse fear with disgust. I also have anime and dating sim tags filtered out in the Steam Store. Am I a "coward" because I don't want to see that stuff in my listings too? Also what's the functional difference between blocking and ignoring someone? Blocking is the perfect way to ignore someone. Again, I think the "blockee" is just mad they can't contact someone who clearly wants nothing to do with them. Get over it.

I'm sure I've been blocked a few times. You know who didn't notice? Me. Because I was never invading those people's space to begin with. So I have no idea who has me blocked.

So why would it matter?
I agree. I don't know who's blocked me either. I can't imagine why I'd be upset over that other than my inability to contact them, which would be a "me" problem, not them.

I'm not gonna call the police on a hobo on the street because he's trying to yelling about how the sky is falling and jesus lives in a piece of bread
I would. The hobo is disturbing the peace and it is punishable by law.

I can't see how is avoiding people whom you don't wish to interact with cowardly..

The title alone makes me question the definition of the term itself.
- Wikipedia claims that it's got nothing to do with avoiding people and saving both of you the hassle.. Which pretty much narrows it down to you using words that mean something you haven't meant to imply.

Nope, just following my duties as a law abiding citizen. You not wanting to report them says a lot about your lack of patriotism. Do better.

It is a forum for discussing
says more about you if you see an opinion you don't agree with as "complaining"

....actually I cannot remember the last time OP said anything interesting, blocked.

cause you guys pick and choose what you want to see about me and the rest of this forum
you want to get angry so you only look for comments and threads that will trigger you
It's not a coincidence all the actual intresting threads disappear quicker than the controversial ones uwu

Actually I posted that to see your reaction.

1.
'you guys' insinuating other people have an affect on who I block or other people's opinion of you.

2.
'you want to get angry so you only look for comments and threads that will trigger you'
I counter misinformation with information.
Someone like yourself would appear to be happy that a person can state the Russian Army is liberating people and not causing incidents like Bucha.
The Kremlin actually has a quota for misinformation posts in the tens of thousands a day to be met.
Look at the spread of misinformation through Europe and how easy it is for people to throw good values away because of being manipulated.
You do not want to counter any of it and are happy for more people to fall into the 'let Russia get on with its brutality in countries that are not mine' that is fine that is your choice as is my choice to say "actually no, that is not acceptable".

3.
what is interesting to some is trash to others. That is why we have lots of different shops and store fronts and games.

4.
So I conclude you lumped me in with a group of unknown people because I said something you did not like.
Is there an actual group of people who wish you ill on the forums?
Where have I celebrated such an action against you?
You certainly chucked a rock in my direction on 'my leaving'.

Do not expect me to reply further I would hate to persecute you by demanding an answer that is not a couple words and a uwu.

learn to ignore

Blocking allows me to permanently ignore an individual that I deem as a bad influence. By removing that influence, you are essentially free of their burdens.

You are what you associated with. You spend time with bad actors and read their comments. You can attempt to ignore it all, but eventually in time you'll be the same; not only in behavior, but through the perception of society as well.

That's what blocking is, an ignore. So when I block people, I ignore them.

I also don't care if it's a "coward" move, I'm not here to be a hero.

And yet I've seen you help people with stuff on here before. Heroes don't always choose to be heroes.
