Whats the point though? Yeah the point of dlcs is to extract money.
I had the original sims and it was fine. And I never had all the dlcs. I just had like the pet dlc and the hot date expansion. And hot date ran so HORRIBLY, its load times were awful. So awful it lead to me stop playing.
My fun would be, going on websites and looking up mods to download. Because eventually you did try everything in vanilla. And like the mod websites started to paywall things.
The thing I liked about the pet dlc, was it gave you something happening in your house while your sim/sims were at work.
my complaint was the dlc were 4 disks, just getting a job and keeping it was tedious enough learning magic or becoming a super star was even more tedious, no idea what i was doing...
