I have a fly infestation at home

My house is filled with these flies that are either coming out from either the refrigerator or from behind it. For those who don't know how bad it is, I killed 39+ in total with my personal high score (Yes I try to make killing flies both fun and engaging for myself) of 14 killed in a single day. Does anyone have anything to say about it?

do they deflate or pop from near-misses? when you catch one does it 'crumple' unnaturally, as if it only had an exoskeleton over its geodesics and the rest was some kind of rubber or plastic fill?

they might be balloons.

one did a lad-standard 'tank recon evasion' maneuver when I feinted it. then flew around in circles to draw me for its fire-support. it kept doing this long after I walked away.

Take out whatever died in your, Wall's, crawl space, Attic or basement already

Get one of them fancy illuminated sticky fly traps.

More importantly there is a food source back there. Pull out the fridge and disinfect everything before you roll it back. There might even be something in the fridge they're after too, but see if they decline after the cleaning step.

If it they're pouring in through the wall then get a vacuum hose extension and clear out the hole. Just get ready to empty the cleaner as the bugs will try to leave the machine once the suction stops.

Also what kind of bugs? How big? Got any pets to check?

^ fleas will survive but flies will be killed by the suction of a hoover.

If it's flies clean up whatever is attracting them or allowing them to breed and fill up a spray bottle with water and washing up liquid as a cheap alternative to fly spray.

If you have fleas I highly recommend Indorex.

you should probably look behind the fridge first to see if there's something there.

there might not be, they might just be baloons. you might have poisoned your fridge area for nothing.

Yup, if you want to get the best high score, employ better weapons.

For pure fun I hear those rock salt guns are quite good. You can shoot them indoors and it doesn't damage anything but kills the flies.

Alternatively go nuclear by choosing something like a decent UV flytrap light. Or if you have a place where they're living as you state, get some borax (you should be able to buy it online easily enough). Mix it 50/50 with sugar.
Now srpinkle the mixture behind the fridge. Kills the ♥♥♥♥ out of insects within hours. As ants, flies and all that love sugar, they take it back to their nest, and it kills everyone.

ok, so flys come from maggots... so there's something rotting back there and you need to figure out what.
