Would you live near/on a cemetery?
I seen a news article about this really nice house that's free to live in but you have to maintain the cemetery it's built on (mostly like lawn care/snow removal). A lot of comments on the article though said they would never be able to live in a house with corpses nearby.

I grew up in the old parts of rural New England and it's not uncommon for some older homes to have "family graveyards" on them, where our forebears are buried. Many of the homes around where I grew up had them. I never gave it much thought but I guess I can see how it would bother people.

Would you be able to live near a plot of land with the dead buried in it or no?

i live near one, we occasionally have to call the cops because some try-hards try to summon ghosts are some dumb crap like that. It's worse around Halloween because some real sickos go into the grave yard and sacrifice black cats.

right, I spend all day cleaning the place up and then at night I need to lay down outside in a ghillie suit next to a rifle and a sound monitor, half-awake in case I get the chance to dome one of these cat-killers.

where's my free time go?

It is a grave yard a place of remembrance and respect.

it's literally your job as a groundskeeper to identify and deal with clandestine manses. they didn't buy a license for that; they bought a plot for a body. they're squatting.

gotta dig them up and collapse the vessel.

My mom has a friend who has a house next to a cementerio and the place is ok, is pretty average and calm...

Actually there is plenty of houses too near that área, so not the big deal... 🤷‍♀️

But is like a small city, not a village...

Even though village cementerios look no diferent than the ones from cities (except the newer ones, the ones that are from the 19th century...)

I mean, they say with all of the madness, signs of possession, works of the "devil" and such, that it's almost like all of the US is on indigenous burial grounds.

necromancy was already being stamped out by the natives before the plagues hit. it's an ongoing systemic problem of unknown origins; cave historians speculate the dark city was located under the americas somewhere.

yes literally like in skyrim.
