it's just rotation and cooldowns.
The hardest part is finding a raid group.
Socially, and sometimes in terms of what you want out of them in terms of roleplaying, that's more complicated to answer, though.
I stopped playing MMO's when even after trying five or six of them, I discovered that even on RP servers people didn't RP consistently. And when people started just generally being jerks in them.
I was under the naive, mistaken impression that the point of MMO's was to experience a shared fictional world populated by other people rather than NPCs, who would engage with that fictional premise and setting. Virtually nobody I encountered did in my experience though.
Instead, it was all LFG shoutouts, power leveling, farming, metagame strats, high level players crushing newcomers in starting areas, and trolling. Essentially, it was just like the rest of the internet, but with graphics. Unless you play exclusively with a dedicated group of friends, which is what I would recommend personally.
For me though, I'll stick to single player games. Or, if I want a more social gaming experience, co-op, or tabletop RPGs.
Skyrim is a singleplayer game not an mmo lol
Indeed better try the elder scrolls online
i think MMOs get boring, but i played that for a bit when it "re"-released since i grew up on final fantasy
its pretty grindy but people in there are extremely friendly and helpful.
the music in this game is absolutely fantastic.

Buy it from their site, don't give money to Valve when playing mmos
