Is a PS5 worth it for a long time PC gamer?
I have a top end gaming pc, and mainly play RPGs & RTS games. Will I enjoy a PS5 if I've never owned a console before? Any hardcore PC gamers here who tried console want to share their opinion please?

I am keen to try driving games (not racing) on a steering wheel & pedals (thrustmaster T300) on a console. Is this a good idea? Or will I just be wasting money on a console?

I sold mine because the only good game was Demon's Souls and I played it already. Years later it doesn't seem like that has changed.

No, I'm not looking at any game in particular. I thought the console could act as a casual gaming option, but for someone who is comfortable with keyboard mouse and mainly plays RPG/RTS games, the PS5 is looking more and more like a waste of money.

I wouldn't get one unless you want it for PS5 exclusive games, like Astro Bot. Other than that nah there's really no reason to if you already have a PC with games. Especially because cross platform gaming is becoming more common now, and in cross platform games, PC is usually always the superior option to play on

If you didn't had PC, and you can find yourself really cheap PS5, it would be worth it

I loved my PS5, but once I played all the exclusives, I had absolutely no reason to turn it on again.

Sure the odd games comes out that I play like Final Fantasy, but it's mostly an ornament now.

The only good games on PS are Demon Souls Remake and Bloodborne. I'd rather save my money and wait for them to get ported over to Steam.

Ok thanks for the replies. I was really on the fence about a console, but this helped me realise I'll stick to my gaming PC instead

No, if anything get a steam deck or even a switch, if you have a PC you don't need a console at all
